Please note, however, that the translated certificate itself does not have a legal validity and will have to be certified. You may be required to choose from one of the three legalisation options below:
Solicitor legalisation – is one of the most common legislation options. In this case your document is translated by a qualified professional and certified by a solicitor (public notary in some jurisdictions) for accuracy and completeness and only afterwards your translated document is legally valid.
Apostille – is a standard text stamp used for legalisation of documents used on the territory of one of the state members of the Hague Convention of 1961.
In-house certification – is a valid certification option in most cases, but in some instances solicitor certification is what you might have to have. Make sure to check that in advance with the institution that the document is being submitted to.
