Interpreting is an important part of translation work. There are two types of interpreting – consecutive and sincronised. With the former interpreter starts interpreting as soon as the speaker has finished speaking and such ‘waiting’ time can last up to 10-15 minutes. In sincronised interpreting, interpretation is practically word for word sincronised with the speech of the speaker (with delay of up to 2-3 seconds).
